BAMBOOZLED: Prepare a five-minute story about your greatest con, your Tom Sawyer moment, or the day gullibility got the best of you. That time when you managed to pull the wool over someone's eyes ... or that moment you became the mark. Hoodwinker or the hornswoggled. Scammer or the snookered. Did you get them all to paint the fence or unwittingly show up with your brushes? Let's hear about it! We’ll be picking at random, I'll be practicing my stand up dramedy, and overall killing it 4/15!

ENVY: Prepare a five-minute story involving the undeservedly blessed who luxuriate in all you want. Or speak on your own jealousy-causing good fortune. Bring your tales of loathing someone just because they have more money than you, more followers on Insta, or a speedy metabolism. Are you one who lets the haters aggrivate or motivate you? Let's hear about it! We’ll be picking at random, I'll be practicing my dance moves, and overall killing it 3/27!

Music affects everyone in different ways. Karaoke allows us to appreciate and personally embrace the songs that we love. Join Karaoke Storytellers 2/23 at the Athenaeum Theatre as we dive deeply into why we love the songs we love. Every song has a story.
And if you're up for it join us on stage as we select one audience member to participate in the fun!

LOVE HURTS: Prepare a five-minute tale about a love that made you go OUCH. The agony of deferred love! The misery of good love, gone bad! The anguish of one-way love! Bring stories of your heart, kicked to the curb by the people or places or things you love...or used to love. Love that "Hurts So Good" also welcome. Laugh Factory Chicago: To Make a Long Story Short!
Comedy storytelling is on full showcase the second Sunday of every month at Laugh Factory Chicago. To Make A Long Story Short features some of the best comedic storytellers and audience submitted stories about the human experience, life, love, and social topics. Join us for a night of traditional storytelling, laughs, and theater! Audience members will also get the opportunity to submit their own stories to share onstage!
